what's this? a post?!

hello blogging community. :] long time no talk.

so lets talk.

berkeley is cool beans.
not hot ones.
cool ones.
our floor has crazy floor pride. we are ordering t-shirts. and we hang out in the hallways, just sitting around and chatting.
we had a capture the flag game against 3rd/4th floors yesterday.
it was funny how intense those people got about it, considering the fact that they outnumbered us 2:1 and were winning. no not even winning, they won 2-0. and yet, i think our side cared less when they broke a rule or something.
speaking of winning, saturday was the first cal football game. i didnt actually go, but game days are fun i think. lots of people show up dressed in paraphernalia, and the celebrating in general is fun. i'm pretty sure there were illegal fireworks at more than one point.
food here is eh. its kind of fun to get something that looks like one thing, only to sample it and find out that it's totally something else. ^^
actually i need to rephrase that. the dining halls here are eh. the food around here is bomb. but i feel dumbtarded spending money when i already have a million and a half meal points to spend on university food. :[
and speaking of the university...
i am taking math 1B (second semester calc i guess...), chem 4a (chemistry on steroids), chem c96 (seminar), and anthropology 4ac (satisfies a certain requirement. already have a presentation thinger).
math is hard. i didnt take BC, so the pace we are going at is kind of difficult. especially since the problem sets are really challenging. audrey seems to be doing ok, so i can ask her stuffs... but i hate to bother her about it.
chemistry is also hard. i'm learning the basics of quantum mechanics right now. it pisses me off that they spent years and years trying to teach us shit that is WRONG. yes, all the chemistry that I learned that has heretofore attempted to explain the structure of an atom is bullpoop.
(speaking of poop, the dining commons food here totally makes you poo in large quantities and at fairly reliable intervals. strange, but not entirely uncomfortable). Also, the lab that goes along with this class (4 hours long), is frikken hectic and tiring.
seminar is whatevs. minimal effort. drove me bonkers trying to find a research project tho. only requested to join one... still havent heard back.
anthro. interesting class... but the professor talks really weird. he uses such high level vocabulary and convoluted sentence structure that it took me a while to realize that usually he's just saying the same thing over and over again in more eloquent/concise/beautiful ways. its a pleasure to listen to and hell to take notes.

so far audrey and i have been spending a lot of time together.
not sick of her yet... but i'll keep you guys posted if anything develops. xP haha

what else can i tell you guys...
i think i am going to switch out of CoC. i dont really like chemistry that much... i like writing better in fact. and as such i just might change my major to some humanity or something. :O shocking.

lol. just went off an an hour long tangent looking up majors and requirements and whatnot...
thinking of either psychology or religious studies. ^^ cool.

anyways... i guess this is enough for now. ^^ sorry it took me so long, but i didnt forget you guys. really. i promise. ^^

much love from norcal!
x3
